Looking for a larger studio space or lower rent? Apply now to the Cultural Space Subsidy Program to rent affordable space in DUMBO. The Culture Space Subsidy Program, offered by Two Trees Management Co, awards artists and non-profits beautiful, light-filled studios and office spaces at rents well below market rate for up to three-year terms. Professional artists, as well as arts, education, and community-focused organizations, are eligible to apply. Program recipients are selected through an open call based on their commitment to community engagement, social impact, and the quality of their work.

Current Cultural Space Subsidy Program tenants include: Artadia, Cave Canem, Radio Diaries, Cey Adams, Sharon Butler, Marsha Cottrell, Anne Gilman, Mary Mattingly, Rachel Rossin, Cheryl Wing-Zi Wong, and Alexi Worth.

The Cultural Space Subsidy Program awards commercial office and non-living studio spaces ranging from 700 to 2,500 RSF a reduced rate of $12/RSF, that�s $1/RSF per month. Each space has natural light and high ceilings, as well as access to freight elevators, communal conference rooms, high-speed internet, and communal roof decks designed by James Corner Field Operations.

The deadline for Cultural Space Subsidy Program deadline is Friday, June 15, 2018 at 11:59PM EST. Awardees will be notified by October 1, 2018 and will receive three-year leases starting January 2019.
