Exhibitions: Heilmann, Marden, Riley, Hollowell, and last chance for Krebber

handmade paper, glazed ceramics, and

Goodbye line: Brice Marden returns to the monochrome in a series of paintings inspired by Chinese steles � monumental stone slabs carved with religious inscriptions dating back to AD 800 (image above). His show opens Friday, November 6, at Matthew Marks. Read more.

Briget Riley’s first show at Zwirner opens on Thursday, November 5 and features work from the past 35 years. She hasn’t had a show in New York since 2007. Read more.
